  Mr Majeika is a fun, easy to read book. Mr Majika turns up to Class Three at the begining of term and all is well at first. However this begins to change when Hamish Bigmore returns to his old tricks of generally being an unpleasant pupil, who refuse's to listen to the Majeika manages to turn him into a frog as well as giving him vampire teeth!/5(22).   Mr Majeika can behave just like any ordinary teacher if he wants to, but something has to be done about Hamish Bigmore, the class nuisance, and so he uses a little magic to turn him into a frog. Mr Majeika is the first book in a series of books that revolves around an extraordinary teacher with magical powers. Within the first book Mr Majeika begins his new job as a class three teacher but his entrance is far from what you would expect of a teacher/5.

We read the book very quickly as my children coerced me into reading several chapters at a time. The books are long enough to engross a young reader. I would also argue the Mr Majeika series Mr Majeika book books would make a great addition for a Primary School Library or Classroom Book collection too (Reading Comprehension and so on).

My kids loved it!/5(44). It was a pleasure to read this book again simply due to the fact that I was an avid reader as a child, and the Mr Majeika series stands out in my memory.

Mr Majeika and the Lost Spell Book Fun and magic combine as usual in this new Mr Majeika story. The pupils in Class 3 at St Barty's School are not impressed when their headteacher imposes strict rules of behaviour for Halloween.
